2008 TRACK RULES

We can not make rules to fit everyone's needs and wants, but we will, to the best of our ability put in writing as much information for you, as possible.   

These rules apply to each and every pit person, mechanic, and driver.

We expect every person entering Mileback Speedway to conduct themselves in a respectful manor and to display good sportsmanship.

Any actions, Verbal or Physical, will not be tolerated to any Mileback official, staff, management, compeitor, crew or spectator.

The driver is responsible for any actions associated with his car.

 

 

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone and may remove anyone from competition or have them removed from premises.

 

 

After qualifing, heat, or main you must weigh in before entering pit area.

No driver or crew may get on the track to argue or discuss the race with officals.

No drinking of alcoholic beverages before or during race program.

Any disagreement over technical questions will be resolved by officals and management.

When decision is rendered, it is final. No futher discussion will take place.

Drivers can only compete in one class per night, car can only compete in one division per night.

1 lap in Main Event must be made to get paid. Must pass flag stand.

 

Line up side by side. Inside pole will set the pace. No passing until green flag drops. Anyone jumping will be put in rear.

 

If caution flag comes out for you, you go to the rear.

If wheels stop turning, rough driving, un-sportsman like coduct, or delaying the race, or spinning someone out to gain position.

 

The tech man can inspect any car  in competition at any time.

 

Each driver must have a driver sheet to be paid. It is used for 1099's at the end of the year.

Driver is responsible for taxes from winnings, unless other information is filled out on form.

 

No one but Mileback officals are allowed on the track.

 

 Any driver that wins three (3) straight main events will start in the rear of the next main unless it is a special or double points race.

 

 

Protest:

 

Must be made within 5 mins. after completion of feature. Any verbal or physical arguments between anyone involved in protest will result in immediate disqualification.

The driver and 2 crew members are allowed in protest area.

If you are disqualified you forfeit your winnings  and points for this event.

 

Track official will act upon any situation not covered in rulebook. Thier decision is final.

Refusal to obey officals or arguring over desision may result in points taken or suspension.

 

You can move up a division, but not back down. Special event races are ok, but not for points race.

THE RULES AND /OR REGULATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE FOR THE ORDERLY CONDUCT OF RACING EVENTS AND TO ESTABLISH MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCH EVENTS.  THESE RULES SHALL GOVERN THE CONDITION OF ALL EVENTS, AND BY PARTICIPATING IN THESE EVENTS., ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE DEEMED TO HAVE COMPLIED WITH THESE RULES. 

NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF  AND COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND /OR RUGULATIONS.

 

THEY ARE INTENDED AS A GUIDE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE SPORT AND OR IN NO WAY A GUARANTEE AGAINST INJURY OR DEATH TO A PARTICIPANT, SPECTATOR, OR OFFICIAL.

 

THE RACE DIRCTOR SHALL BE EMPOWERED TO PERMIT REASONABLE AND APPROPRIATE DEVIATION FROM ANY OF THE SPECIFICATIONS HEREIN OR IMPOSE ANY FURTHER RESTRICTIONS THAT IN HIS OPINION DO NOT ALTER THE MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE REQUIREMENTS.

NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. ANY  INTERPRETAION OR DEVIATION OF THESE RULES IS LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE OFFICALS. THEIR  DECISION IS FINAL.

Mileback Speedway has the right to modify and or delete rules at any time.
